✅ 1. Log in to the OVH Control Panel

Go to https://www.ovhcloud.com

Sign in with your credentials.
✅ 2. Select Your Server

Navigate to "Bare Metal Cloud" or "Dedicated Servers".

Click on the server where you want to install Windows.
✅ 3. Access the IPMI/KVM Console

Find the “IPMI”, “iKVM”, or “Remote Access” tab.

Click “Launch KVM Console”.

This may download a
.jnlpfile (Java Web Start) or launch a browser-based console. -
Ensure Java is installed if using the
.jnlpmethod.

✅ 4. Mount the Windows Server 2016 ISO

In the KVM Console, go to “Virtual Media” or “Media” > “Virtual Storage”.

Choose “CD/DVD Media”, then click “Open Image”.

Select your Windows Server 2016 ISO from your local machine.

If you don’t have the ISO, you can download it from Microsoft Evaluation Center or use your licensed source.

✅ 5. Boot from the ISO

Reboot the server from the KVM console.

Enter the BIOS/boot menu (usually by pressing F11, F12, DEL, or ESC during boot).

Select Virtual CD/DVD as the boot device.
✅ 6. Install Windows Server 2016

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
