Download & Get Data In ACC

The AgentControlCenter allows users to download their data directly from the Job History and Run History pages.  ACC also provides flexibility for users to download partial data if the agent incurred any issues at runtime and did not complete properly or was not able to fetch the complete data for the agent.

It is important to note that the Download Data or Download Partial Data option on Job History Page and Get Data or Get Partial data option on the Run History page is available only if the below conditions are fulfilled:

  • The Backup Data option is enabled on the deployed server running the agent under Application Settings of the Sequentum Enterprise or the Backup Data is enabled in the Sequentum agent itself.

  • The agent data count is more than 0.
  • The Delivery count value on the Run History page is not zero.

Download Data on Job History Page

The Job History page shows the Download Data content menu option for all the successful jobs and has the Delivery column value great than 0. The Download Partial Data content menu option is displayed for an incomplete job or partially completed jobs (For details on Jobs please refer to the Jobs section.)

By clicking on the Download Data or the Download Partial Data will download all the job data in a zip file format.

The job Download Data option will download the data for all the runs that got completed as part of a particular job in compressed zip format allowing you to view the output data without having to go to the server for checking the export data.

And similarly for the failed jobs or partially completed jobs the Download Partial Data will download the partial data for all the runs that partially completed as part of a particular job in compressed zip format allowing you to view the partial output data without having to go to the server for checking the partial exported data.

Get Data on Run History Page

If the agents or servers are configured to keep data backups and the Delivery count for the agent run is greater than zero, then the run history page will always contain the Get Data context menu option. The Get Data will allow you to download the extracted data in the exported file format if a single export target like CSV, Excel, Parquet, etc export file option is used in the agent. And if the agent export target has more than one output file formats or more than one output file of the same export file type then Get Data will download the data as a zip file allowing you to view the output data without having to go to the server for checking the export data. And in case your requirement is to generate a small JSON output file then by using the Get Data option you will be able to open and explore the data file in the new browser tab only.
